For the first time ever, the Super Bowl will be streamed live online. You'll be able to check it out on the NBC or NFL website - whichever you prefer. It should be interesting to see what happens with those incredibly expensive Super Bowl commercials, whether they're aired too or if net specific commercials are shown instead. Verizon customers get it a little better than the rest of us with this Super Bowl. You'll be able to watch the action live on your Smartphone with the NFL Mobile app. No matter what you're doing on Super Bowl Sunday, you'll be able to tune into the game. Blu-ray Finds 'The Way'[teaser]Director Emilio Estevez's emotional drama will be heading to Blu-ray in February. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Arc Entertainment has revealed 'The Way' is coming to Blu-ray on February 21. 'The Way' is a powerful and inspirational story about family, friends, and the challenges we face while navigating this ever-changing and complicated world. Martin Sheen plays Tom, who comes to St. Jean Pied de Port, France to collect the remains of his adult son, killed in the Pyrenees in a storm while walking the Camino de Santiago,. Rather than return home, Tom decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage to honor his son's desire to finish the journey. What Tom doesn't plan on is the profound impact the journey will have on him. From the unexpected and, oftentimes, amusing experiences along 'The Way,' Tom begins to learn what it means to be a citizen of the world again. Through his unresolved relationship with his son, he discovers the difference between "the life we live and the life we choose." Vudu is Now Available on Xbox 360 and WD TV Live[teaser]The much loved HD streaming service is becoming a standard on connected devices. [/teaser] Vudu was hailed from early on by people that aren't willing to settle for lower video and audio quality as a tradeoff for digital delivery. The service took a while to grow to the point that it's at now, but Vudu is becoming ubiquitous on streaming devices. The latest to add the service are WD TV Live set-top boxes and the Xbox 360. On both systems you'll find 1080p video quality, 7.1 channel audio and HDX streaming. To get you to try out the service, Vudu is giving a $4.99 credit to every new customer so they can try out the service. Additionally, Vudu is running a large amount of Christmas specials, including a few 99 cent rentals, discounts on holiday themed movies, and the early availability of 'Moneyball' and 'Abduction.' 'In Time' Announced and Detailed for Blu-ray[teaser]The sci-fi thriller directed by Andrew Niccol ('Gattaca') is ticking down for a late January Blu-ray release. [/teaser] In an early retailer announcement, 20th Century Fox has revealed 'In Time' is coming to Blu-ray on January 31. In the future, time has become the ultimate currency and genetic alteration has allowed people to stop aging at twenty-five-years-old. Upon reaching twenty-five, the countdown begins and in order to stay alive, everyone must work to buy themselves more time or die within a year. The rich can buy their way out of the situation, while the rest are left to negotiate for immortality. When a struggling young man, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake, 'The Social Network'), comes in contact with a "millionaire," he is gifted more time than he can imagine. Falsely accused of murder, Will is a fugitive on the run and becomes determined to bring down the entire system by any means possible.
