Blurring the line between PC and Xbox gaming.
With the general release of Windows 10 at the end of this month quickly approaching, Xbox's Major Nelson put up a new post that spells out many of the new integration features between the Xbox One and PCs running Windows 10.
The biggest new feature is game streaming, available to anyone with an Xbox One and a computer or tablet that runs Windows 10. After enabling game streaming on their Xbox One, players simply need to add their console to their Windows 10 device via the Xbox app. After that, they can use their computer and an Xbox controller to play through their Xbox One library, even when they're not near their console.
The post also describes new features being introduced into the Xbox app for Windows 10. Using the app, players can more tightly integrate their PC and console experiences. For example, players will be able to share screenshots and clips that they took in a Windows Store game and share them over their Xbox Live Activity Feed.
