There are exclusives, and then there is 'Bloodborne.'.
As much as ever, platform exclusives are big business. With new platforms like the PS4, exclusives that promise to take advantage of the horsepower are also a rare breed. Combine those attributes with the cult following of a franchise and the accompanying developer/team pedigree, and 'Bloodborne' has all of the hype and anticipation of any game in recent memory.
Even so, it's clear that Sony's marketing is kicking into high gear. Following the end of IGN's exclusive marketing action, Sony is spinning up all of its marketing for a game that can't possibly best the hype, but still ought to be an excellent title.
