Darkness is closing in.
'Dark Souls III' is on the horizon (April 12th), and the game promises to be excellent. And yet, for anyone who wants to spend a little extra tiem thinking about the game, Bandai Namco and Gamestop have come up with a iOS and Android game that has some of series' trademark elements.
That would be 'Slashy Souls'. It's a 'Dark Souls III' themed endless runner that features a eye-taxing darkness mechanic and some frustrating controls on my LG G4.
No really, the art is fun, and there are lots a familiar enemies to find; however, jumping is a bad way to negotiate the tough environment and a constantly darkening screen makes me feel like I'm going blind. Some updates could do the game wonders. (Check out the Android version here and the iOS version here.)
