Now all those Miis can come to life.
This Friday, Nintendo will unleash 'Tomodachi Life' on North America. 'Tomodachi Life' is a game completely built around Nintendo's Miis, and thus it features Miis from the user's family of Nintendo systems as well as celebrity Miis, friend Miis, and other Miis downloaded from the internet and from here.
In the game, the Miis will have several customizable features beyond the typical Mii, including voices. Those Miis will then become part of an island world that takes its cues from games like 'The Sims' and 'Animal Crossing.'
From Nintendo, "Every time you check back on the game, you will find these characters up to something entirely unexpected or downright outlandish. Mii characters of your real-life best friends may be just like they are in real life, or they might act in totally unexpected ways. You may see your grandfather dancing the hula, dress your mom in crazy outfits or play jokes on your brothers or sisters without getting caught. When you see these wacky things happening, you’re going to want to share them. The Image Share tool on Nintendo 3DS lets you grab screen shots of the game’s funniest moments and share them on social networks with your real-life friends and relatives so they can see what’s happening on your island."
