"exclusive closed Xbox One alpha testing phase"
Ubisoft 'Tom Clancy's The Division' is set to release on March 8, 2016; however, a plan to have a multiplatform beta this month is being delayed until early 2016. That beta access is tied to preorders, but those who have preordered on the Xbox One are still due something extra. That extra thing turns out to be what Ubisoft is calling "an exclusive closed Xbox One alpha testing phase." This testing phase will take place from December 9th to 12th, and as described, will be "first time the public gets to play a version of The Division that includes more than the Dark Zone PvP enabled areas."
This testing phase is exclusive to the Xbox One, and will be conducted in a non-disclosure environment. It will start on December 9th at 1am PST and will end December 12th at 12am PST CET.
The codes for the testing phase will are promised for December 7th via email. There is a waitlist. To get on the waitlist, go and register here.
