Get those Xbox One S consoles ready.
Update: After being a no-show on the 11th, the demo is live now.
Update 2: After further review, this demo does not have HDR on it. I'm expecting that change.
'Forza Horizon 3' is tantalizingly close to being released, but as has been welcome in the past few years, Microsoft will be offering a free demo ahead of release. That demo will drop on September 11th (get it here), and for those unfamiliar with the 'Horizon' franchise, this game series is extremely welcoming to new players. This time out, the road/off-road openworld racing goes to Australia, and players should expect some very beautiful visuals.
This will be the first year that 'Horizon' will be playable on PC, but before that happens, the 'Forza Horizon 3' demo will offer something special on the Xbox One S.
There has been plenty of discussion regarding HDR gaming over the past day, and over the past summer. But with the Xbox One S and the 'Forza Horizon 3' demo, the very first piece of HDR enabled gaming content will hit the public.
As a reminder, HDR is only for specific Xbox One titles, and HDR is limited to the new Xbox One S console (see the 2TB console review here).
The official release date for the full game is September 27th, but 'Ultimate Edition' buyers will get access come September 23rd.
