Finally!
After a delay from Fall 2015, Ubisoft announced today that, as promised, 'The Division' will be holding its beta this month. It will now go live for folks who pre-ordered the game on January 28th for Xbox One owners, the 29th for PS4 and PC players. The beta ends January 31st.
The beta will include a few establishing story missions to give players the dimestore tour of NYC before teaming them up with other players in the Dark Zone for PvP.
If you haven't pre-ordered yet, there's still plenty of time, and if the problem is that you don't own an Xbox One, Microsoft has got you covered there, having announced a $399 bundle which will include the game. That will release the same day as the game (March 8th). You also still have the ability to go sign up for the waitlist here and pray.
