Combat Rigs, mission teams, maps and modes.
Activision has a new way for fans to take a tour of 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,' and the results are both deadly and funny. With Alana as a guide (Kate Micucci), this not-so-safe tour is interactive and delivered (of all possible, unexpected methods) via Messenger. (See here.)
Beyond the antics here, this Messenger-delivered tour is something interesting, and I suspect we will be seeing more of it very soon. It's pretty clear that fans enjoy getting to talk to Messenger bots made in the mold of game characters, so why not do more?
From Stan Chudnovsky, Head of Product, Messenger, "The success of Activision’s Call of Duty bot for Messenger was exciting - it demonstrated that people want to interact with the brands and businesses on Messenger. Fans will love this new experience just as much. This is another good example of how brands can continue to use bots on Messenger to engage and excite their users.”
Here are some screens from my Terminal Tour:
And later on...
And it got more brutal from there. Still, it's a tour worth taking, especially to see just what 'Infinite Warfare' is like in Messenger.
