You can preorder the game for guaranteed beta access.
Tom Clancy game fans got a nice little surprise at Ubisoft's E3 conference when it was announced that the popular Terrorist Hunt game mode would be returning to the 'Rainbow Six' franchise in 'Rainbow Six Siege.' In Terrorist Hunt, the Rainbow Six counter-terrorism unit is faced with a new terrorist cell by the name of the White Masks. Players can either take down this new threat solo or team up with four buddies for some five-player co-op.
According to the Ubisoft event, the AI opponents in Terrorist Hunt will be more intelligent than ever, so players will have to make good use of all of the high-tech gadgets 'Siege' features, including detonation packs that can blow up walls and remote-controlled scouters that can disarm proximity traps before the player even enters the next room.
'Rainbow Six Siege' will enter a closed beta on September 24, a couple weeks before it's set to release. Players can register for a chance to get into the beta at the Rainbow Six website, or they can preorder the game from a participating retailer for automatic access. The beta will launch on all of the game's platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
