Fans may be surprised by the version comparison.
Both 'Dynasty Warriors: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition for the PS4 and 'Dynasty Warrirors: Xtreme Legends for PS3 released last week, and fans have been wondering just how the entry's first PS4 titles shaped up. Unfortunately, the focus leading up to launch had been limited ot hte game's impressive content offerings, as both the original 'Dynasty Warriors 8' game, the 'Xtreme Legends' content and the costume DLC is all part of the PS4 version.
Today, Tecmo Koei, elected to share side-by-side comparisons of the 'Xtreme Legends' content on the PS4 and the PS3.
Of course, the PS4 version is likely just a port of the PS3 version with little down specifically for the PS4. The results of the cut scene heavy comparison show the PS4 version with much improved characters textures and lighting, while depth of field and other full screen effects produce a different, and debatable, difference in the two versions. In game, the PS4 version appears to have a much easier time maintaining frame rate while handling hordes of on-screen enemies.
