The company's latest Prime Series speaker model is now available.
SVS has announced the launch of its Prime Pinnacle Tower Speaker. The floor-standing speaker units are now available for $799.99 each in a premium Black Ash finish or $899.99 each in a Piano Gloss Black finish via the SVS website.
"When we set out to design the Prime Pinnacle speaker, it was supposed to be a straightforward execution that came as close to the performance of our reference Ultra Tower as possible, but in a more room-friendly cabinet design at a lower price," said Gary Yacoubian, President, SVS. "The reality is, we spent more time voicing Prime Pinnacle than any speaker in SVS history so it would be equally suited for the demands of discerning audiophiles and hardcore home theater fans. To go even further, Prime Pinnacle's profile had to blend seamlessly and sound amazing in any listening environment. The dedication paid off because it truly stands alone at its price and well beyond."
The Prime Pinnacle Tower Speaker features a new driver array consisting of a 5.25-inch midrange with a glass-fiber composite cone, three 6.5-inch woofers housed in separate ported sub-enclosures, and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter with FEA-optimized diffuser. In addition, the speaker utilizes SVS's SoundMatch 3-Way crossover to ensure a seamless soundstage. Likewise, the crossover's topology is timbre-matched to complement use with additional speakers in the SVS Prime or Ultra Series, allowing users to build a larger surround sound system. Finally, the device is rated for 29Hz-25kHz (+/-3dB) and includes 5-way binding posts and a cloth grille with pin/cup retention system.
Beyond the new Pinnacle Tower Speaker, other existing models in the SVS Prime Series include the Prime Elevation, Prime Satellite, Prime Center, Prime Tower, Prime Bookshelf, and Prime Wireless speakers.
