Improves and expands upon an already massive game.
Today, developer ConcernedApe has released the first major update for indie hit 'Stardew Valley' with version 1.1, which adds a ton of frequently requested features and tweaks.
At a glance, the major additions lie in new characters who can be married, alongside a divorce feature. These characters have new music, events, and more. Spouses will now also have unique behaviour patterns and routines on your farm. Additionally, 5 different farm maps can be chosen at the start of the game, all focused on particular skills such as fishing, mining, and combat.
You can catch a trailer for this update right here, or go here for a detailed changelog.
I still haven't found the time to play this, despite it being right up my alley in so many ways. Given the staggering post-launch support, as well as impending console releases, it might be best to wait, since it seems the game is only getting better with time.
