An unstable artificial intelligence is the player's only companion.
The first game from French developer Ocelot Society releases today. Called 'Event[0],' the PC exclusive sci-fi title has players trying to return to Earth. To accomplish that, they'll have to befriend a spaceship computer called Kaizen, who has a personality and mood all of its own. Kaizen will give different clues to the player depending on its mood, and these hints are essential to solving the adventure game's hacking puzzles.
'Event[0]' originally began as a six-month student project, and has been fleshed out thanks to backing from the Indie Fund. “We’re extremely proud and excited about our game launch as it’s been a true labor of love from our small team for over a year now and we’ve poured everything into it," said Ocelot Society Game Designer Sergey Mohov. "'Event[0]' is all about self-expression through dialogue and unique experiences so it will be rewarding to see how players receive and interact with Kaizen in their quest to make it back home alive to Earth."
'Event[0]' releases today on Steam, Humble Store, GOG.com, and Itch.io for $19.99.
