Get ready for the Freesixty flip.
'OlliOlli,' the Vita skateboarding title so good that the High-Def Digest review concludes with "If anything, they should make a version for the PS3/PS4, and put one of the DualShocks to work" is set for release on both the PS4 and PS3. Today, developer Roll7 has issued a pair of fascinating announcements for the game.
First, the developer is almost ready to release two important patches. The first patch, expected June 20th, fixes a serious crash bug that has plagued the game since its original release. This patch will be followed up by another patch in June that will overhaul the game's leaderboards.
Second, and this is just great for those that a have bought into the PlayStation ecosystem, all three PlayStation versions of the game, the Vita, PS4, and PS3 versions will be included as part of Cross-Buy. That means that current Vita owners will be owners of the PS4 and PS3 versions once they are released, while PS4 and PS3 purchasers will nab all three PlayStation versions.
To celebrate the concurrent announcements, the developer is giving away a 100 copies of the Vita version of Twitter and Facebook.
