The game's post-launch support begins.
Guerilla Cambridge's community manager Jeroen Roding went o the PlayStation Blog to announce that 'Rigs Mechanized Combat League' will be getting a sizable update next month. Included are new APX Rigs to use that are faster and more agile than the standard ones. That speed comes at the cost of armor, however, so it won't be unbalanced. Other additions include a new arena called Zurich, which will be shown off at the PlayStation Experience prior to being added to the game.
This is only the beginning of the post-game support, though, as Roding mentions that the team at Guerrilla Cambridge "investigating ways to enhance" the game due to player feedback. He also announced that the game will now get a weekly trials series, and new store items (such as victory celebrations) when the December update hits. These will be purchased with in-game credits, not microtransactions.
