There have been several major additions since release.
As the year draws towards the close, it's a good time to look back at one of the most hyped games in recent memory, 'Titanfall.' Naturally, with so many big games releasing this month, it's easy to think of last March's 'Titanfall' release as long ago, but Respawn Entertainment would like to remind players of a few things. First off, 'Titanfall' has sold like gangbusters on the Xbox One. Not only is it "the best-selling new IP on Xbox One," (beating 'Destiny' it seems), but more than 7 million users have played across all platforms. (And that's before the oncoming holiday rush of new Xbox One owners.)
Still, it's likely that many of those users haven't played the game lately, which is why Respawn has put together a montage of many of the free features that have been added since release (the nine DLC maps are paid), including five new game modes such as Marked for Death, Skirmish, Deadly Ground, and the co-op Frontier Defense, in-game features like deployable sentry turrets and new AI archetypes, match features such as match customization and ranked play, and new unlockable Titan characteristics and burn cards uses.
From the High-Def Digest review of 'Titanfall' for the Xbox One:
"Zip-lining, jump-kicking, dash-crushing and punching pilots into nothingness with metal fists. These are all things I didn't mention, but they're just a few of the many details that add to the game's allure and make those emergent moments happen."
