Can it replicate the offshoot's success?
Be excited 'RE' fans, not only is a remastered 'Resident Evil' on the way, but Capcom has also announced an incoming 'Resident Evil Revelations 2.' The original 'Resident Evil Revelations' was considered a kind of fan service when it debuted for the 3DS (as a Circle Pad Pro game no less). The game emphasized action/survival over big set pieces, while giving fans level after level of Resident Evil themed joy. After eventually porting the game to multiple console and PC platforms, it seems that Capcom has seen the light and is bringing out a sequel built for the consoles.
Capcom is only teasing the game right now, but it's clearly a console game (as opposed to another handheld title). The game is due out in 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, and PC.
