Local multiplayer is making a comeback.
Kylotonn Racing Games have announced that 'WRC 6' will include a split screen mode and allow for players to play multiplayer locally. The heavily requested feature has become a rare sight in the genre, as racing games are increasingly opting to only include online multiplayer. Hopefully 'WRC 6' will start a trend here as it'll include the mode when it launches this October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The studio also announced that 'WRC 6,' which is the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship, will feature several different cover variants throughout the world. The Abu Dhabi Total World Rally Team will adorn the cover in France, the UK, Middle East and Brazil, while the M-Sport World Rally Team will be on the cover in Italy, South Africa, Eastern Europe, United States, and Canada. Finally, Hyundai Motorsport's Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul will be on the cover in Benelux, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, and Korea.
