It could be a case study.
Quantic Dream, the developer behind titles like 'Heavy Rain,' 'Beyond: Two Souls,' and 'Detroit: Becoming Human' is bringing their PS2 era title, 'Indigo Prophecy' (aka 'Fahrenheit') to the PS4. The 2005 game returns as a PS2 to PS4 version, which mainly means the addition of trophies and widescreen support. This version is expected out on August 9th.
The game is equally fascinating and absurd, and is often the case, full of great ideas and also some terrible ones.
Just last year, Aspyr Media released 'Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered' on the PC (see the review here), and that would be the version to try for a variety of reasons. Still, it looks the PS4 will wind up having all of Quantic Dream's catalogue once 'Detroit: Becoming Human,' which looks quite promising, is released.
