70 more songs by the end of the year.
For 'Guitar Hero Live,' the GH TV side is the dynamic way to play new songs. On top of the current 200 songs in GH TV, Activision will add 70 songs by the end of the year and that content rollout starts today.
First up will be three songs from Black Veil Brides. This comes as a premium show (which players unlock to play in-game) based off of the band's live 'Alive and Burning' concert and will include 'Heart of Fire (Live),' 'Fallen Angels (Live),' and 'In the End (Live).'
Also this week is the Legendary Headliners premium show which includes 'Monster' from Paramore, 'Sugar, We're Goin Down' from Fall Out Boy, and 'First Day' from Blink-182.
Finally, there is the Pop Goes GHTV premium show, which includes 'Chocolate' by The 1975, 'Believer' by American Authors, and 'Budapest' by George Ezra.
All three shows should be available today. As explained by the FreeStyleGames, new content will be introduced in general as unlockable premium shows first. Once the shows are no longer offered, the songs will be playable on-demand for one week before hitting the normal GHTV1 and GHTV2 channels. (No word yet on the promised third channel.)
The rest of the 70 songs still to come this year include the likes of Judas Priest, Iggy Pop, Bully, Leon Bridges, Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Rival Sons, St. Vincent, Alice in Chains, System of a Down, Bring Me the Horizon, among others still to be announced.
