New teasers have been revealed for the Netflix shows.
This week at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, Netflix debuted new previews for three of their upcoming Marvel series. The lineup includes 'Luke Cage,' 'Iron Fist,' and 'The Defenders.'
'Luke Cage' - After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.
'Iron Fist' - Danny Rand (Finn Jones) fights relentlessly to regain everything he's lost in Marvel's Iron Fist, coming soon to Netflix.
'Marvel's The Defenders' - The show will feature a crossover team-up between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist as they face their biggest threat yet. The series will star Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Finn Jones, all reprising their roles from their individual shows. Douglas Petrie, Marco Ramirez, Drew Goddard ('The Martian,' 'Lost,' 'Alias'), and Jeph Loeb will all serve as Executive Producers for the mini-series. The show is being produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.
'Luke Cage' will start streaming exclusively through Netflix on September 30. Exact release dates for 'Iron Fist' and 'The Defenders' have not been announced yet, but both series will premiere in 2017. In addition to these upcoming Marvel shows, seasons one and two of 'Daredevil' and season one of 'Jessica Jones' are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
A current Netflix subscription starts at $10 for HD streaming and $12 for Ultra HD streaming.
