The Marvel superhero will hit Netflix in March 2017.
During the 2016 New York Comic Con, Netflix released an official teaser trailer for Marvel's 'Iron Fist.' The show will start streaming exclusively through Netflix on March 17.
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

'Iron Fist' will now join Netflix's growing collection of Marvel shows, including 'Daredevil,' 'Jessica Jones,' and 'Luke Cage.' In addition, Marvel and Netflix are also prepping 'The Defenders' for a 2017 debut. 'The Defenders' will feature a crossover team-up between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist as they face their biggest threat yet. The series will star Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Finn Jones, all reprising their roles from their individual shows. Douglas Petrie, Marco Ramirez, Drew Goddard ('The Martian,' 'Lost,' 'Alias'), and Jeph Loeb will all serve as Executive Producers for the mini-series. The show is being produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. Finally, Netflix will release a series based on 'The Punisher' starring Jon Bernthal next year as well.
Other upcoming Netflix premieres include 'Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids' on October 12, 'Black Mirror' on October 21, 'The Crown' on November 4, 'Lovesick' on November 17, and 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' on November 25.
A current Netflix subscription starts at $10 for HD streaming and $12 for Ultra HD streaming.
