Coming to Oculus Rift later this year.
2K announced today that they'll be bringing a mini-game collection based upon their popular 'NBA 2K' series to PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Samsung Gear VR tomorrow. Called the 'NBA 2KVR Experience,' players will be able to get basketball tips from 'NBA 2K17' cover star Paul George as they attempt different challenges. These include a three-point competition, accuracy challenge, a buzzer beater countdown and a speed challenge. While the mini-game collection will become available for $14.99 on the platforms listed above, it's also set to release on the Oculus Rift at a later date.
"Our team consistently looks for new ways to deliver unique, fun experiences for the gamer," said Visual Concepts' President Greg Thomas. "'NBA 2KVR' will give fans even more access to our franchise and test new skills across entertaining VR challenges." Equally as excited was the Indiana Pacers' Paul George, who said he "can't wait for fans to dominate on the virtual court."
The 'NBA 2KVR Experience' releases November 22nd for $14.99 on PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Samsung Gear. It's set to arrive on Oculus Rift later this year.
