LG has announced the release of their latest 4K monitor. The 27MU67 is an Ultra HD display with HDMI 2.0 connections and HDCP 2.2 copyright protection.
"LG is known for delivering advanced TV display technology and our latest monitor lineup brings that same display expertise to smaller screen sizes," said David VanderWaal, vice president of marketing, LG Electronics USA. "Our new 4K ULTRA HD Monitor delivers advanced features like sharp picture quality, high field of view and less input lag to a growing number of professional and recreational gamers."
The 27MU67 is a 27-inch monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. The display features a 16:9 IPS panel with 10 bit color depth, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 300 nits brightness, and support for 99 percent of the Adobe sRGB color space. In addition, the monitor offers Dynamic Action Sync and AMD's FreeSync technology to eliminate screen-tearing and stuttering to create a smoother gaming experience with minimal input lag.
LG's 27MU67 will be available later this month for a suggested retail price of $599.
