The 1969 film featuring visual effects by the legendary Ray Harryhausen is on its way to Blu-ray.
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Archive is working on 'The Valley of Gwangi' for Blu-ray later this year.
The discovery of a midget horse, thought to be fifty million years old, prompts members of a Wild West show to venture into Mexico's Forbidden Valley in search of fame and untold wealth. But they are met by prehistoric monsters, including "Gwangi," a giant dinosaur that decimates their ranks.
The release will feature 1080p video, lossless 2.0 audio, and supplements include Return to the Valley featurette with SFX wizard Ray Harryhausen and the Theatrical Trailer.
