New trailer shows off the darkness within.
'Life Is Strange' developer Dontnod are ending 2016 in a big way by releasing a new trailer for their upcoming action role-playing game. Called 'Vampyr,' the titlee will take place in 1918 London. Players will take control of Jonathan Reid, a vampire who Dontnod says is looking to "discover the truth behind his new affliction."
Check out the two minute-long cinematic trailer below:
The studio also detailed that every action in the game will have consequences. Here's how the developer detailed how the game will handle death:
In Vampyr, every citizen killed will affect London's safety. From shop closures to missing kin, the act of killing is unavoidable, but who you kill, and how, is in your hands. Every civilian can be killed, or saved - but as hordes of vampire hunters prowl the streets, growing strong on the blood of the weak will be ever more tempting.
'Vampyr,' the third game from French developer Dontnod, is set to release in 2017. It's coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
