Sony Explains the True Purpose of the PS4's New Share Play

"But Nick doesn't own this game!"

PS4 System update 2.00 is out, and in fact, 2.01 has been released with a fix for the new Rest Mode. Among its other features, the new system update has added Share Play, which Sony has been very keen on marketing as unique way to socially game. Of course, while enthusiasts may already have a frim grasp on how Share Play works and what it's useful for (60 minute sessions of getting a friend into certain kinds of games in living room style), Sony still needs to get the non PS4 owner to understand this new, odd feature.
