Will debut at PAX East.
Image & Form released a developer video blog recapping their highly successful 2016 that saw the release of the 'SteamWorld Collection' and ports of 2015's highly regarded 'SteamWorld Heist.' While the eight-minute video was a look back for the studio, they also looked in the future. They announced that a brand new title in the 'SteamWorld' series will release in 2017.
Players won't have to wait very long for more details, as the game is set to be playable at PAX East 2017. The event takes place in Boston, Massachusetts from March 10-12, and Image & Form teased an announcement for early 2017 regarding the game. Considering previous 'SteamWorld' titles have ranged genres from turn-based strategy to a platformer, it's hard to know what exactly the developer has in store for players.
