Latest DLC reveal looking good.
'Mario Kart 8' is likely the strongest ongoing offering for the Wii U, (check out the review here) and that status looks to be bolstered by the upcoming DLC packs. The first DLC pack is due out in November. At $7.99, the pack includes three characters, four karts, and eight courses. One such course, which Nintendo has shared today, is the Excitebike Arena. Granted, while the number of people who played 'Excitebike' at one point or another may pale to say 'The Legend of Zelda', there no doubting that bringing in the new course to 'Mario Kart 8' should see millions take a stab at the classic joy of 'Excitebike,' or at least the next best thing.
Those interested are encouraged to take advantage of the DLC pack 1 + 2 offer, which is $11.99 for both packs. DLC pack 2 is due out in May.
