Relapse in full.
The Humble Bundle is offering another one of their incredible charity supporting deals in the Humble mozilla Bundle. (Check out the offer here.) The offer includes five indie hits, but those that pay more than the average price, (which is currently $4.85) will get an enduring addiction in the form of 'FTL: Advanced Edition.' As great as the deal is, it isn't a surprise. What is a surprise is that the games on offer are playable in browser from the Humble Bundle right now.
From the Humble Bundle,
Big name indie games playable right in your browser! No more plug-ins. No more installers. Pure gaming goodness is now accessible straight from the browser you already use. Pay what you want for full-fledged indie games you can play right now: Super Hexagon, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome, Osmos, Zen Bound 2 and Dustforce DX. If you pay more than the average price, you'll also get Voxatron and FTL: Faster Than Light Advanced Edition. Those who pay $8 or more will receive all of the above plus Democracy 3. Select soundtracks are available, too!
Naturally, the games can still be downloaded DRM free for purchasers, but even those who are just looking, there are demo versions of the games available to play in the browser for free. As someone who has to actively avoid playing 'FTL' lest I be sucked away for hours (days) on end, this is an incredibly challenging development.
