Yes, they really are out to get you.
After a few months of silence, in the wake of a total mess of a pre-order scheme, 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' has popped back on the radar in a big way, with a six-minute new trailer, telling more of the story, and an abbreviated, though stunning look at gameplay options.
Yes, we get the usual grizzled narration from Adam Jensen about the problems of the current government, and that awkward "mechanical apartheid" turn of phrase isn't going away any time soon, but what comes across even better here is the sheer cycle of gameplay, showing off the usual kill 'em all vs stealthy approaches to stages, but also the effects your actions will have on the world. We also get glimpses of what seems to be a much deeper investigation mechanic set up at Adam's sweet bachelor pad. And of course, the cherry on top of the game looking just gloriously pretty.
