Autobots are rolling out later this year.
Activision announced today a new game in the 'Transformers' franchise that is being developed by PlatinumGames, a studio that has proven time and again that it knows how to construct a solid combat system.
Titled 'Transformers: Devastation,' this game, set to release later this year, lets players take control of one of five Autobots—Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, and Grimlock—for a combo-heavy fighting experience. Judging that PlatinumGames gave players games like 'Bayonetta' and 'Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance,' Transformers fans can expect a satisfying combat experience as they pummel Decepticons.
The game is set to release for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC. You can check out the game's comic book aesthetic in the teaser trailer below.
