Ending the year with a beloved 'Mario Kart.'
Every Thursday brings new content to the Nintendo eShop, even if it's the final one of the year. The December 29th update to the Nintendo's virtual store is highlighted by 'Mario Kart 64' coming to the Wii U's virtual console. The Nintendo 64 title costs $9.99, and will let players relive the thrill of mastering the game's 20 different courses.
It's a rather empty week overall, as the only other release is the Super Nintendo classic 'Castlevania Dracula X.' Available exclusively on the New Nintendo 3DS, players can relive Konami's classic platformer for $7.99. Players control Richter Belmont as he attempts to rescue his significant other.
Finally, two 'Pokémon' Nintendo 3DS themes were released. Both cost $1.99 apiece.
