NetherRealm's hit gets an upgrade.
Warner Bros. Interactive announced today that last year's 'Mortal Kombat X' will be receiving an expanded edition on March 1st titled, fittingly enough, 'Mortal Kombat XL', releasing on PS4 and Xbox One. The new edition of the game will include all previously released downloadable content, as well as all content from the upcoming Kombat Pack 2. Additionally, this edition will come with the never released Apocalypse Skin Pack. You can catch a trailer for the new edition below:
Though it received critical acclaim at launch, 'Mortal Kombat X' was also criticised for the somewhat high amount of DLC available for the game, so this new edition should do nicely for anyone who was interested in the game but put off by the DLC practices. NetherRealm has also been wonderful about updating the game, and is giving the online a major upgrade in the near future, so this is a very good time to jump into 'MKX'.
