Naughty Dog continues to be poached.
As recently covered, Activision's 'Call of Duty' franchise has been looking for infusions from the likes of Naughty Dog. Today, the studio name behind 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare,' Infinity Ward, landed two of Naughty Dog's top designers. Former Lead Game Designer at Naughty Dog, Jacob Minkoff, and former Naughty Dog Narrative Design Lead Taylor Kurosaki, are now at Infinity Ward in role of Design Director and Narrative Direct, respectively.
New job! Design Director at Infinity Ward. Love ND; can’t wait to play Uncharted 4 as a fan. Excited to work with the talented team at IW!

After the tweet, Jacob Minkoff posted some further thoughts on the move:
"I've taken a new position as Design Director at Infinity Ward. Had a great run at Naughty Dog with all the fantastic people there"
Very psyched to share that I've joined the phenomenal team at @InfinityWard as the studio's narrative director. To infinity and beyond!

Plus, I get to work alongside my colleague of many years @JacobMinkoff as @InfinityWard's design director. Bonus!

As with similar moves, the question becomes, for which studio, Naughty Dog or Infinity Ward, will these moves have a bigger effect? For that answer, it's worth considering what projects are currently underway. Naughty Dog is working on 'Uncharted 4,' but Infinity Ward, while likely working on another 'Call of Duty' hasn't yet publically revealed their next project, nor it is it automatic that these new designers would immediately be placed on 'CoD.'
