Everybody, meet Faith.
It's been a bit quiet on 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' front since DICE pushed the game back, but it's looking like the time was very, very well spent. They've just dropped a new trailer for the game, and just, well, we'll let this slick son of a beesting speak for itself.
Basically, if the vibe that the first 'Mirror's Edge' felt like a statement of purpose rather than a full fledged game, this is looking like the fulfillment of that promise. If this plays anywhere near as good as it looks, we're looking at another classic here, easily. It's also looking like a fair few folks will have the opportunity to find out firsthand, as EA also announced that the game will be getting a closed beta sometime before the full game's May 24th release date. You'll need an EA account in case you haven't made one of those yet, and you probably should anyway, the benefits are starting to stack up. Not everybody who signs up will get in, but, it's worth a shot. Head over here for your chance.
