A lot of gunplay going on at this conference.
'Doom' was the first star of the show at Bethesda's E3 conference. Conference attendees and those watching the livestream were treated to gameplay videos for the upcoming remake, along with some new info about the game.
The single-player action for 'Doom' includes all of the elements you'd expect from the seminal FPS title. Players charge headlong into hordes of enemies, dispatching them with insanely powerful guns and brutal melee finishers that made the live audience audibly groan. Players will have access to all kinds of weaponry, including assault rifles, powerful shotguns, and a chainsaw that rips enemies to shreds.
The publisher also announced the game's level creator, dubbed Doom Snapmap. This tool allows players to create not only their own custom level, but also to fill them with custom game logic, allowing anyone to create their own game experience.
'Doom' will hit PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in spring 2016.
