'Payday 2' Plans To Smashgrab Current-Gen With 'Crimewave Edition'

HD upgrade, all DLC, and new missions included

505 Games and Overkill Software have announced that 'Payday 2' will be making its current-gen console debut with the 'Crimewave Edition' on June 16th.

'Payday 2 Crimewave Edition' is, essentially, a Game of the Year package. On top of the expected 1080p/frame rate uptick, this edition will include most of the game's downloadable content (you can check out what's making the transition or not here), brand new weaponry, and a set of brand new heists featuring Giancarlo Esposito and Mira Furlan (Danielle Rousseau from 'Lost').

But wait, there's more! There's also a pre-order bonus called the Hard Time Loot Bag which will include the following, whether you pre-order a physical or digital copy:

• --Red dot weapon sight modification available for use on all rifle weapons
• --Exclusive Skull mask
• --PlayStation 4- or Xbox One-exclusive mask
• --Unique mask pattern titled "I LOVE OVERKILL"
• --Unique color pattern, only available with this unlock
• --Bundle of in-game cash
