Control a turret in the 'EVE' universe.
CCP Shanghai has announced that their first-person arcade shooter 'Gunjack' will be a launch title for PlayStation VR. The 'EVE' spin-off will release alongside the virtual reality device on October 13th. Players will be able to operate a gun turret on-board a large mining vessel called the Kubera. It'll be up to them to make sure the ship can successfully complete its mission as enemy ships attack.
The arcade gunplay is simple at first, but there is more to 'Gunjack' than just firing cannons. Players will be able to activate special weapons such as smart bombs and guided missiles, which are gained by defeating enemies. They'll also have to time their reloads, as nobody wants to reload while getting shot at. The developer is also saying that the PlayStation VR version of the game will feature "improved textures, models and an enhanced audio experience."
