Signs of the PS4-exclusive show up in the service's database.
'Everybody's Gone To The Rapture' was one of those sudden, beautiful surprises this past summer, an elegiac narrative with beautifully contemplative writing. And if you were one of the people who thought "this is the kind of thing that belongs on PC more than it does PS4", well, there's a chance you're absolutely right.
Rock, Paper Shotgun is reporting that the good folks at Steamdb.info with too much time on their hands who trawl the Steam database for tender morsels of new games have found a couple of files showing an entry simply called "Rapture" had shown up in the database a while back, and it is now paired here with a Store page banner, and entries for "developer comp", "beta testing", and "CD key".
Naturally, the page states that the page is not currently public, and its not likely to be until The Chinese Room decides to make the official announcement, but its a rare thing for someone to create the kinds of Steam store entries we're seeing here and not plop a game down with it, and lest anyone forget, 'Everybody's Gone To The Rapture' was originally planned for PC to begin with, but only got made due to Sony Santa Monica lending a financial helping hand. Its a safe bet PC folk will get their time in the sun watching folks get whisked away sooner than later.
