Codes may be hard to retrieve.
Finally, the long awaited 'Destiny' PS4 beta has come, and unsurprisingly, the internet is straining. The pre-order scheme allowed players to secure a beta code, but really, that code had to be input into the beta website, which is supposed to return a PS4 code for use now. Of course, that site is currently getting slammed. Once that code is retrieved, the user can graduated to PSN, which is getting slammed as well. Once users redeem that code in the PSN store, they then need to get the download started. Naturally, there is already an update file that downloads at the same time. Once in the game, the user can enjoy the 10.97 GB download.
Hopefully, these expected hiccups aside, everyone who's ready will get to experience the 'Destiny' beta at some point today.
