The company will highlight its latest image enhancement technology later this month.
DarbeeVision has announced the launch of a new digital video processor. The DARBEE Visual Presence is aimed at improving depth and clarity in HD, 3D, and 4K content like Blu-rays and video games.
"High-def is only the beginning," said Larry Pace, President of DarbeeVision. "With DARBEE Visual Presence (DVP), home theaters can transcend the flat pictures found in even the most high-end of displays. The future of realism favors the natural depth only DVP provides, and it’s available for every kind of digital entertainment."
The company will host live demos at CEDIA 2014 to show off their latest DVP's enhancements to movies, video games, and Oculus Rift applications. In addition, DarbeeVision has joined with five partners, including OPPO Digital, Galaxy Microsystems, Avenview, Lumagen, and Wolf Cinema, to reveal how the technology is being integrated into upcoming products. Finally, a new DVP-enabled demo of 'Destiny' for the PS4 will also be on hand.
Here are examples of the DVP's image enhancements:
"The most realistic images in the marketplace are being made with DVP," added Pace. "No matter what the underlying image technology is, no matter what capture, storage, transmission, or display unit a user has, we can work with it to deliver something exciting."
The new DarbeeVision digital video processor will be demonstrated at Booth #772 at CEDIA 2014 in Denver on September 10-13.
