Pinhead, Pokemon, and more are all heading to Blu-ray.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Universal, Arrow Video, Gravitas Ventures, FilmRise, Viz Pictures, XLrator Media, Lionsgate, MPI Media Group, and Severin Films.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, Universal has launched pre-orders for Christopher Landon's Happy Death Day starring Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, and Ruby Modine. Supplements and an exact release date have not been announced yet.
Arrow Video is prepping a new SteelBook edition of Clive Barker's Hellraiser starring Andrew Robinson, Clare Higgins, and Ashley Laurence for Blu-ray on October 31. The disc will feature a 2K restoration approved by director of photography Robin Vidgeon, and supplements will include:
- Audio commentary with writer-director Clive Barker
- Audio commentary with Barker and actress Ashley Laurence
- Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser brand new version of the definitive documentary on the making of Hellraiser, featuring interviews with key cast and crew members
- Being Frank: Sean Chapman on Hellraiser actor Sean Chapman talks candidly about playing the character of Frank Cotton in Barker s original
- Soundtrack Hell: The Story of the Abandoned Coil Score Coil member Stephen Thrower on the Hellraiser score that almost was
- Hellraiser: Resurrection vintage featurette including interviews with Clive Barker, actors Doug Bradley and Ashley Laurence, special make-up effects artist Bob Keen and others
- Under the Skin: Doug Bradley on Hellraiser
- Original EPK featuring on-set interviews with cast and crew
- Draft Screenplays [BD-ROM content]

- New artwork by Mondo artist Matt Ryan Tobin
In addition, the company's Arrow Academy label is set to bring Ivan I. Tverdovskiy's Zoology starring Masha Tokareva, Natalya Pavlenkova, and Aleksandr Gorchilin to Blu-ray on November 14.
Viz Pictures is preparing Pokemon: Indigo League - Season 1 Champion's Edition for Blu-ray on November 14. No other details have been announced at this time.
Gravitas Ventures is set to release Neil Berkeley's documentary Gilbert starring Gilbert Gottfried on November 14. Supplements will include:
- Filmmaker Commentary with Director Neil Berkeley and Stars Dara and Gilbert Gottfried
- When You Walk Through A Storm
- Life on The Road
- Meeting Dick Van Dyke
- The Long Cruise
- A Very Gottfried Halloween
XLrator Media has announced its upcoming slate of November 21 releases. The lineup will include...
Peter Spirer's documentary Feel Rich featuring Common, Jermaine Dupri, and the Game.
Jean-Luc Annest's Nola Circus starring Vas Blackwood, Dave Davis, and Taryn Terrell.
Jesse V. Johnson's Savage Dog starring Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror, and Juju Chan.
Edward Evers-Swindell's Dark Signal starring Siwan Morris, Gareth David-Lloyd, and Joanna Ignaczewska.
Peter Baxter and Peter Spirer's documentary Spirit Game: Pride of a Nation.
Lionsgate is prepping Kate Mulleavy and Laura Mulleavy's Woodshock starring Kirsten Dunst, Joe Cole, and Pilou Asbæk for Blu-ray on November 28. Supplements will include:
- Making Woodshock: A Mental Landscape" Featurette
In addition, the studio is bringing Lucky McKee's Blood Money starring John Cusack, Ellar Coltrane, and Willa Fitzgerald to Blu-ray on December 19. Supplements will include:
- "Blood Money Uncovered" Featurette
Meanwhile, Joe Miale's Revolt starring Lee Pace, Bérénice Marlohe, and Jason Flemyng will arrive on December 26. No other details have been announced at this time.
Likewise, the label will also release Manhunt: Unabomber starring Sam Worthington, Jeremy Bobb, and Ben Weber on December 26 as well. Supplements will include:
- "Criminal Profiling” Featurette
- "Who is the Unabomber?” Featurette
- "Deciphering the Manifesto” Featurette
MPI Media Group is set to release Natalia Leite's M.F.A. starring Francesca Eastwood, Clifton Collins Jr., and Michael Welch on November 28. Supplements have not been revealed yet.
In addition, the label is prepping Marianna Palka's Bitch starring Caroline Aaron, Eric Edelstein, and Kingston Foster for Blu-ray on January 9. No other details have been announced at this time.
Finally, Severin Films is set to release The Amicus Collection with Asylum, And Now the Screaming Starts, and The Beast Must Die! on December 5. In addition, And Now the Screaming Starts and Asylum will also be available as standalone releases on that same day as well. Supplements will include:
