The standalone streaming service is now available on Amazon Fire TV devices.
Amazon and CBS have announced the addition of CBS All Access to the Amazon Fire TV and the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote. The stand-alone digital subscription service costs $5.99 per month, giving users live (in select markets) and on-demand access to CBS shows and content without a traditional cable or satellite package.
CBS All Access offers next-day streaming for new episodes of 24 popular shows and a library of 7,500 on-demand episodes, including content from current programs like 'Limitless' and 'Elementary,' and classic series like 'Star Trek' and 'Cheers.' Likewise, customers will be able to watch live local CBS broadcasts through the service in more than 110 markets. Live content and contemporary shows will include commercials, but the classic programming will be presented without ads. Unfortunately, some sporting events, including NFL games, will not be part of the service.
Customers can sign up for CBS All Access now directly through https://www.cbs.com/all-access/firetv, and new users will receive free a one-week trial. In addition to the Amazon Fire TV and the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote, CBS All Access is also available on Roku devices, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Windows 10, iOS and Android products.
