Beta testing begins in March.
Having beta tested a new firmware back in September last year, Sony has announced that they'll be doing the same thing with their latest upcoming system software update. You can sign up to beta test the latest firmware right here, with the beta program kicking off early next month. All you need is a PS4 with an internet connection and a master account, and you can roll back to older firmware at any time. No details on the firmware have been announced just yet, but Sony says they'll reveal more once the beta is open.
