The company's latest flagship tablets have been announced.
ASUS has officially unveiled its latest tablet series at Computex. The collection includes the ZenPad 7.0, the ZenPad 8.0, the ZenPad S 8.0, and the ZenPad 10.1.
"I am thrilled to be at Computex to unveil our newest Zen-inspired innovations," said ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih . "These exciting new creations strike a compelling balance of power and beauty, and perfectly embody our In Search of Incredible vision of creating seamless and connected digital lives for everyone."
The ZenPad series features IPS displays and integrated DTS premium sound technology with built-in DTS-HD decoding and virtual surround sound. The high-end ZenPad S 8.0 uses an 8-inch 2K QXGA 1536x 2048 screen with 324ppi. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 4GB of RAM. An optional stylus for writing and drawing will also be available. Meanwhile, the standard ZenPad 8.0 model offers special interchangeable back covers, allowing buyers to add new features to the device, including an Audio Cover that provides full 5.1 surround sound.
Full specs, pricing, and release dates for the ASUS ZenPad tablets series has not been announced yet.
