Gameplay begins with the birth canal.
'Dead Rising 3,' one of Microsoft's touted Day One titles, is not far off. The history of series from an early 360 title to a multiplatform, multi-version sequel, has provided hours of compelling gameplay with equal parts challenge and goofiness, while never exactly settling on a blockbuster formulae.
That history, when combined with the more gritty look of the new game, has many puzzled as to whether or not 'Dead Rising 3' will be a must-play title or just another zombie game. The game's crafting system, and mentions of bits of series' past humor touches haven't exactly cleared up this mystery for the next-gen title.
Fortunately, Capcom has promoted a stream of the first 25 minutes of game, and among the things to notice are the return of series Zombrex, the large number of distinct zombies, the online co-op character, the high level of gore and dismemberable zombies, drivable cars, large world size, and capable survivor characters.
