The 56 page document was quickly ordered to be taken down by a law firm representing Microsoft.
An unknown source posted an allegedly official document yesterday that detailed Microsoft's plans from 2010 to 2015, including the creation of a brand new Xbox with very impressive capabilities. The 56 page report details some staggering stats.
First off, the console would pack a variety of CPUs and GPUs, allowing it to not only run Xbox 360 software, but run programs in the background. This added functionality would allow for the recording of TV shows.
A few other outlines showed the inclusion of a Blu-ray player, 3D capabilities, a new version of Kinect and a price point of $299. Yeah, $299. That's a pretty ridiculous price for a machine so capable, but that doesn't mean it's impossible – just very unlikely.
