Oompa-Loompa do-ba-deeks-durly... Warner releasing 'Willy Wonka' two weeks early.
As previously reported, Warner Brothers will bring the classic 1971 version of 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory' starring Gene Wilder to Blu-ray in October, but it will now be released on October 6 (instead of October 20).
The release will feature 1080p/VC-1 video, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include a delicious documentary: Pure Imagination: The Story of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, mouth-watering commentary with the Wonka Kids, four scrumptious sing-along songs, tasty vintage featurette, Theatrical trailer, and collectible digibook packaging.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray set is $34.99.
